Snow increasing on Kilimanjaro...SUCK IT AL GORE!!!!

Only the k00ks think that people will see this story and wake up the next morning and jump on the phone to their representative, yelling, "Fix the carbon emissions damn-it.......its fcukking snowing on Kilaminjaro!!!!"

:funnyface::funnyface::funnyface::funnyface::funnyface::funnyface::funnyface:

And it only took two posts before someone blamed it on global warming. :clap2:

The OP itself blames it on Global Warming. Dave fails..., AGAIN!!!

Mount Kilimanjaro is slowly regaining its snow after several years of drought in East Africa and the effects of climate change in African continent.

“Global warming” has nothing to do with this, it’s all about rainfall, deforestation, and evapotranspiration.
Idiot.

I would say more snow. Which is why I always laugh when people claim that snowfall amounts are proof that there is no global warming.
So the ice ages were caused by global warming?

actually yes, it's plausible...

Global warming drank all my beer.

You can't prove otherwise.

I didn't blame it on anything, if you want to point out where I said that-be my guest. You have a habit of putting words in my mouth that I don't say, then looking a little dumb after.

I don't know enough to say what's causing the amount of snow.

All I did was ask a simple, straight-forward question. If that makes you jump to conclusions-so be it.
Yeah, right. And you, of course, weren't leading anywhere with that loaded question.

Actually I wasn't. Sure it def. was a loaded question-but that doesn't make the correct answer any less true.

I was simply seeing if the OP was willing to answer a common-sense question, because the OP obviously used this evidence against global warming. I was merely debunking the idea that this evidence that global warming doesn't exist.

In short: my point was that this snow piling up i not evidence that global warming doesn't exist. I was not insinuating that it means global warming does exist.

You get so uptight and defensive all the time-it's kind of funny.
So the snow is either evidence of global warming or it isn't. And that's final!

The only problem with your theory, turd, is that the people who support AGW claim lack of snowfall is proof that it's true.

Bullshit. It's been said frequently that warmer temps could lead to more snow in some areas. If it gets warm enough, sure there'd be less snow. Now we're talking a few degrees, which wouldn't prevent snow, but would lead to more moisture in the atmosphere and more snow, if the temps are still low enough. Remember when I say "warmer", I don't necesssarily mean "above freezing". If temps rise from 20 F to 25, that's warming AND it'll still snow.

They weren't saying that until after the record snowfalls we had two winters ago. Prior to that they were all saying in unison that the mild winters we were enjoying were proof of global warming, that snow in winter would soon be a thing of the past.

So global warming will cause it to snow more except when it causes less snow? Do you understand how idiotic you sound?

Here's what we know about global warming cult members: No matter what kind of whether we're having, they will claim it's proof of global warming.

Global Warming is a cult, not science.

You're the one that sounds idiotic. If it gets warm enough, it won't snow. If it gets warmer, but not above freezing, then there will be more snow because of increased moisture in the atmosphere. The former is a prediction for the future. The latter is the situation at present. GET IT?!?! I'm getting tired of repeating myself.

Snow not being proof of global warming =/= proof global warning doesn't exist.

When people breathlessly claim that absolutely everything is proof of global warming, credibility stretches thin.

Anyone here ACTUALY live on Mt. Kilimanjaro? Because here in the US, it is snowing less and is getting drier on the long term. That is just a fact. Screw Al Gore, that is just a fact. Deny that and you just aren't living in the real world.

Really? The fact is that the past decade has had the snowiest winters on record. Who told you that it was snowing less here in the US?

LOL...

No I am sorry but no one here lives ON Mount Kilimanjaro... Matter of fact I don't think many people live on it.. Just as not many people live on Mt. Hood, Mt, Everest, and so many other large mountains. Its a elevation and terrain issue mostly in fact generally those mountains tend to pose problems from rock slides and avalanches if anyone even lives too close at their base...:cuckoo::lol:

Now please explain how you came to the conclusion its snowing less here in the US and if you don't mind could you please tell me what local or regional short term weather tells you about the weather near Kilimanjaro OR overall climate...

Really? Care to link proof of that?

So, if we have had the snowiest winters in the last decade, we have also had the warmest decade on record. Hmmm......... Very snowy winters, very hot years.

OLDSOCKS, you call everything proof of AGW.. :cuckoo:

No, G-vig, you silly fraud, I call the combination of events that we are seeing the result of global warming. No one storm or receding glacier can be pointed out as the result of global warming. But when 95% of the glaciers are in accelerating recession, then that can definately be attributed to global warming. When we get an 500% increase in damaging storms over the last 40 years, that is definate proof that something has changed.

I call bullshit on about everything you just claimed socks...

And no please spare me the list of greenpeace approved data.. I already seen it, and its still not evidence..
