The Government can no longer be trusted.

Every branch seems to have been corrupted. IRS, EPA, Justice, for sure--the rest under suspicion--even the military seems well under way to complete politicization. A substantial percentage of Americans now see their President as a Marxist and a Liar. Congress is beneath contempt; filled with money-whores, whose vote is generally for sale for any slice of pork because they get a 5 to 7 percent share of any slice of pork--a process known to the citizens as a "Bribe" or a "Kickback" and to the Senators and Representatives as a "Campaign Contribution". Every American now owes about $60,000 apiece on the deficit and most can't pay.

The NSA may arguably be following the "law" (for now), but it is clearly acting in violation of the Constitution.

The things which made this country what it has been---the greatest society thus far known to the planet--are fading away under the influence of misgovernment.

So, along comes Edward Snowden who reminds us we have got to be vigilant in guarding our Constitutional Rights. And in the process, he has created some strange bed-fellows. Hard leftists who railed at the Patriot Act when passed under the hated Bush, and who can foresee and dread the abuse under some future Cheney, are united with hard rightists who are appalled at the potential loss of Liberty with our Government in the hands of Obama's Chicago Apparatus.

People are crossing party lines to unite in the interest of Individual Liberty---thanks to Edward Snowden's revelations, which came a couple of months after the head guy at the NSA, a "public servant", committed perjury before Congress rather than reveal what the Federal Government was doing to its own citizens.

"The liberty of discussion is the safeguard of all other liberties".

We still have that liberty of discussion. Thus, this message board.

But, we now post with the knowledge that every e-mail, every post, every phone call is now being stored for future use.

And we have to put a stop to it--because:

"Terrorists" are the object of the spying.

Many of us think that means Lunatic Muslim Jihadists who have been brainwashed by evil men with beards to believe they will get 72 virgins in Paradise IF they take a few Americans with them when they blow themselves up.

But, Obama's Chicago Apparatus thinks that "Terrorist" is any white boy with a hunting rifle from Montana down to Mississippi.

A hero is someone who puts himself in harm's way for the good of others in a worthy cause.

Snowden is close. He clearly put himself in harm's way. And he did it for the American People. We are debating whether his is a worthy cause. The more our untrustworthy Government howls that it is not, the more I think it is.

So, thanks Edward Snowden.
