So how Underestimated will the Consumer Price Index (CPI) Be Tomorrow?

Will they soften the blow and "revise" it upward later?......I'm thinking 8.2% myself.

Or will they go for broke and report it as much less and then tell us all how good we have it, that due to their policies we have turned the corner, and now we need to go out and buy us a 70K electric vehicle so we can drive by the gas stations with a smile on our face?

Ahhh.. that thing is so manipulated it doesn't really matter.

National average gas price is up almost 15% in one month.

That is my metric.

I believe it's closer or surpassing 20% using the old formula that included food/fuel/hospital care.
