So much for states' rights.

Why is it this whole thread seems to be so completely ignorant?

There is no such thing as "states rights".
States can never have "rights".
States have "jurisdictions".
So do the federal government and local governments.
Jurisditions are NOT rights.
ONLY individuals have or can have rights.
Governments then use those individual rights as their justification for the authority they get from defending those delegated rights.
But no level of government ever itself has or could have any "rights".

He is stating the obvious. The GOP claimed to be for something but not longer really cares about it when it doesn't suit their desire for power.
for one this isnt just a state issue and 2nd the GOP hasnt claimed states rights in decades,, some members might have but the party as a whole has been against it for decades,,

you arent responding to them now you started a thread against one party and completely ignored the other which is far worse on the subject,,

This thread was about a current court case and the party behind it. That is the topic of this thread.

Oddly enough it was the Dems that wanted to leave it in the states' hands this time.

I dont see this as a state issue since it effects several states and the country as a whole from the results,,

but you feel free to rant,, its fun to watch,,

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court on Wednesday reinstated for now a Trump-era rule that had curtailed the power of states and Native American tribes to block pipelines and other energy projects that can pollute rivers, streams and other waterways.

So much for the GOP being the party of states' rights.

The Trump-era rule removed the power of the states and the SCOTUS let it stand for now until the rule is rewritten.

The SCOTUS ruling is correct as the judge did not have the power to stop it.

Too bad we do not have a party that actually believes in the idea of states' rights.
Conservatives are infamous for their hypocrisy.

The great thing about living in a free country, we can disagree and not have to kill each other.

MORON

I have no doubt you feel that way. You like most mindless partisan sheep want everyone to look and act and think just like you.
the dems have gone far beyond just disagreeing,, now they are forcing their agenda on people that dont want it as is the GOP,,,

when you move from disagreement to force all bets are off,,

Yep, both sides are doing it. Yet you are blindly loyal to one and hate the other.

Weird.
