An uncrewed Russian spacecraft spun out of control during orbit and crashed into the moon, according to the country's space agency.
The Luna-25 craft lost contact with officials in Russia following an "abnormal situation" and crashed on Saturday, Roscosmos said in a statement to Interfax, a Russian news agency.

If it was not for Space X and independent company, we would still be launching astronauts into low earth orbit space from Russia's Soyuz program. Our government controlled manned space program put the last astronaut into space in 2011. This with a hundred-billion-dollar international space station that we paid near all for and keep it going. Space X put up the first astronauts launched from our territory in 2020. Boeing a legacy corporate entity was supposed to launch astronauts into low earth orbit at that time also. They have not. It will be at least 4 years past Space X when they do. The good guys are suffering from equity. The wrong Pride sucks.
