A severe case of Covid-19 takes 3-6 weeks to play out one way or another. Of the US's current 51,766 active cases, more than 50,000 were confirmed in the past 10 days. If you want a semi-accurate mortality rate, it's going to take a while longer. Before the past 10 days, the sample size was too small.

So America shutdown and crushed our economy over something you admit we know nothing about.

Because of the uncertainty, because we were not massively testing to know more, to be able to isolate the infected, is why the stock market dropped 10,000 points on the DOW in just about a week.... And why businesses were forced to shut down and shelter in place...

It has been said many times: Test, test, test.

Unfortunately, the United States has been of the worst — if not the worst — for testing for COVID-19.

We are naughty behind other nations....

No, the market is crashing because the economy has been shutdown and hundreds of millions forced out of work.

I’m asking for why. And I’m being proven right, no one can say why.

It is being based on other countries ahead of us, what they did to mitigate with testing, isolating, and quarantining, and their supply of protective gear, and quick, extensive testing compared to our readiness and quick response....

We've been woefully unprepared and late with testing, and medical readiness.

So, they are preparing for the worst, and hoping for the best....

It's all they and we, can do.

They can tell me how many Americans have died, so they can tell me age groups and health conditions easily. But they won’t.

Who is "they"? The Trump administration? The CDC who gathers world wide statistics on pandemics? The WHO? The Doctors too busy trying to save lives, including their own?

I'd like to know more information on who died as well... is it killing the young that do not have a pre existing condition? What pre existing conditions do all those that died have, if any? Can you catch it twice, is second time worse or milder, how long is the whole process, from when you catch it, to when you are healed? Lots and lots of questions I'd like answers to, and scientists and doctors want to know as well....

But we usually do not know all of this information until after the chaos of the epidemic or pandemic is over, and a post mortem, is done.

I can look on the internet and learn that sickle cell anemia hits all ages equally, both sexes equally, 0.18% will die from it and 98% are blacks. I have no idea who compiled that information but it’s there.
