Democrats hate expectations as they can rarely meet any
Republicans prefer a level of likeminded normalcy

Based on who and what they champion, a model citizen for a Democrat wouldn't be a citizen at all....he would barely speak English, he'd be an illegal with four anchor babies, be unemployed and on the taxpayer tit, he'd wear lipstick and a dress, enjoy sodomizing men and believe he should have the right to shit next to your teenage daughter.

The ideal citizen for a Republican would be hard working, tax paying and productive, he'd be patriotic, have faith in God and take great pride in American family values, he'd speak English clearly and have an expectation of fellow citizens.

The bottom line is, Republicans are for productivity, class and decency while the Democrats are for underachieving, taking, filth and indecency.

Democrats don’t believe in charity? Really?? They are party most closely associated with social security, medicare, medicaid, CHIP, etc.

They don't believe in taxing. That is ideological nonsense. What they believe in is gov't spending for social programs hated by the GOP. It the GOP that is fixated on taxes. The discussion should be what programs should the gov't fund but the GOP know that the social programs are too popular to attack directly. They attack the tax revenue to, as Reagan said, starve the beast.

As to trusting Americans, they have proven time and again they are too often irresponsible and uninformed. A friend of mine sets up retirement plans for businesses. He said about 65% of employees won't contribute to an IRA even when the employer matches their contribution. The only way to make them secure is to mandate contributions.
