It's difficult for Republicans to win until things get bad enough that Americans try to do something a little better. If you don't like Trump personally, that's understandable. But who in the world would elect a leader based on that? That's why I said we could be in real trouble in this country if we elect people based on personal opinion instead of the job they are doing.

DumBama's numbers were phony because when unemployment decreased, the labor participation rate decreased as well. The real numbers didn't start happening until the end of his second term when the labor participation rate froze and then started to increase. That was mostly due to lower fuel prices which nearly everybody in the country took advantage of.

I feel a little bad for Trump. For one, I wish he wasn't this stubborn. I feel people take advantage of his stubbornness to get him stuck in difficult situations. Like he's always attacking the media. But even if the media is extremely biased, he looks like an idiot when he attacks them. He says stuff like "fake news" and makes some sort of insult and just feeds into it more. Honestly, I felt like Trump used to be a decent guy, but ever since he's gotten into politics he's completely transformed. That being said, politics is really cut throat. I'm not sure he really understood what he was getting himself into. His biggest, lasting mistake, is his inability to properly communicate his views on racism, diversity, immigration. That sort of thing will haunt him for a long time. It seems like he has fun though, I honestly feel bad. That's really terrible for him to develop that type of reputation. In the real world, those types of people are looked poorly upon. A lot of people will curse him at his funeral. Only has a few years left. He should have tried to at least avoid being controversial about these issues, at the bare minimum.

You must be looking at it from one side.

For decades we on the right got so frustrated with the media attacks on our representatives and they just sat quietly in the corner and took it. No more. Trump is President, and he isn't taking shit from anybody. I like that in a leader. I look up to that. Finally, the media is getting what they deserve instead of the pandering they are used to.

If you want to keep jobs here, you need to make it inviting for companies to create those jobs--not attack them all the time and make them your political enemy.
