I firmly convinced that a squirrel commit suicide.

I was walking along a railroad track one afternoon after school after running my trap line and I saw something odd next to the track.....It was the head half a squirrel, about 10 yards up the track was the hind end. Sliced in half as pretty as you please.

The hind end had one foot missing like it had been chewed off. Even a three footed squirrel is plenty nimble enough to avoid a darn train.

I never have figured that one out.
