Sradha (English: Concentration) is a 2000 Indian Malayalam language action film directed by I. V. Sasi and written by T. Damodaran and Dr. Rajendrababu. The film stars Mohanlal, Shobhana, Abhirami, and Jagathy Sreekumar. It features a musical score and soundtrack composed by Bharathwaj. The plot follows the investigations of a police squad led by Ganga Prasad (Mohanlal) for a terrorist threat in the city. The film was released on 7 July 2000. It was dubbed and released in Tamil titled Dhool Police. The film mostly received negative reviews upon release and was declared as a disaster in box office (source of information: Wikipedia).

Evaluating the social significance of such a terrorism-in-the-city fable could help us appreciate the storytelling-value of new age politics-monitoring through the arts...

What would our media-focused U.S. President Donald Trump say about new age 'free-speech' rhetoric in the arts/cinema?

TRUMP: Do you appreciate non-mainstream discussions on the Internet?
CARTER: I think they're 'street-chatter valuable.'
TRUMP: They're easily-accessible tabloids (potentially), aren't they?
CARTER: It's a Celebrity (Woody Allen) culture, really...
TRUMP: I like this Marvel Comics villain, Electro.
CARTER: He was portrayed by the offbeat Jamie Foxx in a film.
TRUMP: Electro symbolizes the disruption of sentiment-waves.
CARTER: What the heck are sentiment-waves?
TRUMP: A 'sentiment-wave' my friend is a physical manifestation of emotion-kinesis.
CARTER: I don't believe in 'emotion-kinesis.'
TRUMP: Yet, countless people are globally-connected to a wireless network!
CARTER: Synthetics are only a galleria, not a museum.
TRUMP: Are you a fan of the Circus (acrobats, clowns, lion-tamers, etc.)?
CARTER: I like Cirque du Soleil.
TRUMP: We have to monitor the subculture community for rebellions.
CARTER: Even capitalism can create angst...
TRUMP: That's why we think of a 'socialization dragnet' (democratic/capitalist).
CARTER: Were you a fan of Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City?
TRUMP: I was an admirer of what we'd envisioned...
CARTER: Film-fanfare is much more street-wise (even linguistically) now.
