If taxpayers are forced to fund someone kid's education because his/her own parents don't believe in him/her, how is that educating oneself? Self betterment involves doing things yourself that make you better not demanding someone hand it to you for nothing.

I fund education. My oldest daughter is in college right now and what her EARNED scholarships awarded by those willing to recognize her ability and do so by choice don't pay, I do. She's the only one for which I should do. Not anyone else's kids because they won't do it.

You need to get a grip. there are indeed socialist countries. What there are not is Laisse Faire capitalist economic systems, or libertarian economic systems. And for much the same reason, there are no communist economic systems. Just mixed economic systems with a large dose of socialistic components, and some regulated capitalism. What I said, that perhaps you are too stupid to understand, is that Libertarian economics never, ever works. Libertarian nations implode before they ever have a chance to be successful. So, you, as a libertarian, are simply following an economic idea that has never, ever worked.
Now, since you are stupid, you may want to believe that I am a communist or some such drivel. Truth is, I think the same of Communism as I do of Libertarianism. Both fail because the citizenry hates them.
See if you can find a nation that wanted to be a Libertarian nation, and you will find a nation that failed. And where the people of that country hated the governing Libertarians who ran things. And had a really miserable time.
And I know that there are some very, very wealth libertarian folks who are investing millions into constructing "libertarian Islands".
