They’re about the individual.

Our constitutional republic was founded upon the God given rights of its people and a confederation of states that, in turn, are supposed to protect those same rights. That being the case, the usurpation of states rights is an attack upon individual freedoms. The interference by the feds in the education of our children is not only an attack upon each of us but the states in which we live.

Hopefully, the current administration's actions are a first step in restoring those freedoms by reducing federal actions on the local fronts.

From education to the environment, from health care to the use of natural resources, Washington DC has stepped into arenas where it has absolutely no business entering. The real victims are not simply the embodiment of the states themselves but rather the people within the states who are being made to feel they have no recourse. As states bend and often break to the will of the federal government, Constitutional protections for the people are being trampled.

More of this @ States’ rights aren’t really about the states. They’re about the individual.
