Guess there's no limit to the level of retardation Democrats are willing to go to....

Jacksonian Democrats
In the highly controversial presidential election of 1824, four Democratic-Republican candidates ran against each other. Though Andrew Jackson won the popular vote and 99 electoral votes, the lack of an electoral majority threw the election to the House of Representatives, which ended up giving the victory to John Quincy Adams.

In response, New York Senator Martin van Buren helped build a new political organization, the Democratic Party, to back Jackson, who defeated Adams easily in 1828.

Andrew Jackson was a genocidal monster. You republicans can have him.

Quick question..................if Jackson was a Democrat, then why does a Republican president (Trump) have a picture of him hanging in his office? Trump has said often that Jackson is one of his favorite presidents.

Repeatedly over the past year, Trump has invoked and praised his predecessor in the White House, who served from 1829 to 1837. In addition to various mentions in remarks and on Twitter, Trump placed a portrait of Jackson in the Oval Office and made a pilgrimage to the late president’s tomb in Nashville less than two months after being sworn in.

Actually, Jackson WAS a Democrat...

As a matter of fact, many people consider him to be the FOUNDER of the Democrat Party (since he was the FIRST person to run for President, and WIN, on their ticket)...

But since so many Democrats are turning on other Democrats now, I just wonder if we can get them to tear down statues of their "Black Jesus" for being a descendant of slave owners (or impeach Biden, in the unlikely event the senile old fool ever gets elected, for the same reason, or for being "too white")...

You didn't answer my question. Trump is a Republican, yet he has a picture of Jackson hanging in the Oval office who is a Democrat. The question is, why does a Republican president have a picture of a Democrat in the Oval office? Isn't that being a bit disloyal to the Republican party?

It's apparently a personal choice...

You DO know that Trump was a Democrat at one time, don't you???

Willful property damage in a National Park would land most citizens in Federal prison. Why are these left wing thugs above the law??
We cheer when other countries tear down vainglorious statues of their despots.
Damn, I just LOVE it when the Democrats get themselves into a pickle...

Now we have a Democrat claiming that the Democrat Party was founded by a despot!!!

His ideological successors are the ones jumping to his defense.

Obviously, Trump is not a partisan, like most democrats are.

Destroying statues is atavistic behavior. Here’s an idea, spend the energy getting them placed in a museum....
