There are just some people that have lived their lives and are just so used to being yelled and cursed at that it has become ingrained in their lives. You literally can't get through to them any other way. It was hard to try and leave that type of talk at the door the end of each 8 hours and then go back to talking to other people with respect and without cursing all the time. I use to never use the word fuck...but in the prison I said it all the time. You probably won't believe me, but I never used to say damn. I would say dang. I would never say God damn it. I'd say Gosh darn it. And of course, Son of a gun. I think there is one I'm missing, but you get the point. I tend to blend in with the company I keep.

I'll give you a good example of who I am. I had/have (Not really close anymore) he's a white guy that listens to rap music a lot and we used to hang out all the time. We loved going to bars to shoot pool, look for women, whatever. Well he started saying the "n" word. I ignored it the first few times.... then he continued to say it whenever we were out somewhere. Finally one day, I asked him not to say it around me, that I don't like the word and I find it offensive. He wasn't happy about it, but I stood my ground. I told him if he respected me and our friendship he would do it. Well he didn't stop... and then one day he called me on the phone to see if I wanted to go hang out, and I told him that I could hang out and be friends with him anymore. I had known him for like 5 years. He argued with me and couldn't believe I would quit being his friend over a word. But that' how I feel. I think everyone is equal and the "n" word to me stands for all the negative stuff in this country. Him and I didn't talk for about 3 years, and even after that we were never as good of friends as we used to be.

I would suggest that you simply be the better man ... and save the vulgarity for times of extreme emphasis. Just because somebody swears at you, or name calls, doesn't mean that you're required to respond in kind. To do so IS your choice. (A good tool to use is Transactional Analysis --- look it up on Google. I think you'll like it)

The fact is, in its current form, SS Is a rip off. We are taxed all our working careers, the idiots in DC get their greedy grubby paws on OUR money and spend it foolishly. Then they convince the uninformed that SS is good for us.

A new SS system should be implemented where the worker's individual account is filled through either a payroll deduction or for self employed people one which they deposit part of their earnings into a secure private account administered by a federal agency that upon that person's retirement, the money is paid back to the individual or their heirs EVERY SINGLE DIME tax free.
As for Medicare, this is also a disaster. No senior citizen should be burdened with the high cost of medical care, They built the country and kept it prosperous for the next generations. They gave at the office. Seniors should get the God given respect they have earned through their hard work...
We here in the US treat our seniors like dirt.....And medicare is the shovel.

First SS money from day 1 was put in the general funds. Your social security amount is dictated by your income during your lifetime. Your idea is stupid, so when this single fund for each person runs out , thats all he gets, because he lived past the average age.
