After Rittenhouse killed his first victim, people yelled down the street that he had just killed someone, which the man with the skateboard who was killed and the man who was injured while pulling out his gun heard and tried to stop him. Somewhere I've heard that people need to carry guns to defend themselves and others if such a dangerous situation arises as a killer brazenly walking toward them with a gun in his hand. Due to the curfew, every civilian out on the street was doing something wrong at the time.

The whole thing perhaps would not have happened if the police had actually done their job. What's the point of riding around in an armored vehicle with a loudspeaker blaring that the streets must be cleared if you are going to high-five people instead of clearing them out and arresting them if they don't comply? There is even some talk that members of the police department might even have invited these gun-toting thugs to come to the city from out of town. Rittenhouse, too young to carry a gun, had to drive some distance to get to Kenosha in the first place. How did he know what was going on? Why did the police pass him by instead of stopping him and ordering him away?

Now I understand when nations go into peril, a bullet to the head of the enemy ends all the lawyers defending their clients. And then many of the lawyers get it also.
