Summary of Evidence Released - What It Says

From the look of things it's just going to corroborate what Conservatives have been saying all along.

The dems are fucked!!

Considering it was written by conservatives...

So why were dems so adamant that it not be released?

If it's untrue you shouldn't have a problem debunking the memo right?

Because they felt it was biased, they should have worked together on the committee. Or if not at least allowed the Democrats to release their own memo however that was voted down by Republicans.

Anyway, we'll find out how this document holds up, Nunes has been a clown so far.

I'm glad this memo is released. So Republicans can keep showing their obstructionist asses to public.

Very troubling when we have the president attacking the FBI and Department of Justice.

They are a part of our checks and balances. Without them, presidents would be allowed to run authoritian regimes.

You do understand that the FBI works for the Executive Branch and not the other way around, right? The FBI is most certainly NOT part of our checks and balances. It didn't even exist until the 1930s. The FBI and the CIA have been used as tools for political corruption ever since.

I'll wait for the actual memo to be made available to the public. I don't trust any media outlet to tell the truth about it.
I dont trust the memo to tell the truth either. I will wait for therelease if everything.

Names. I want names.

The memo also reportedly details how, “Andrew McCabe confirmed that no FISA warrant would have been sought from the FISA Court without the Steele dossier information.”

Reaction to the revelations are already rolling in.

“It’s a disgrace what’s going on in our country, a lot of people should be ashamed of themselves,” President Trump commented moments ago.

This article will be updated as information becomes available.

There is no bipartisanship when it comes to breaking the law.

That they were looking at him in 2013 has nothing to do with using an unverified dossier by a biased person to obtain FISA approval in 2016. If it was the root, the FBI and DOJ are screwed.

NO moron..........

First, all we have is Nunes word that the dossier was the SOLE reason for the FISA warrant to be RENEWED.......which then begs the question how was it ORIGINALLY obtained.....

Second, at the very fucking best, if the warrant was obtained "illegally" then Trump may be off the hook in court, BUT what does the gathered intelligence STILL states about his criminal behavior?

The DOJ investigation of Carter Paige started in 2013

Here's the part that BAFFLES me in Nunes' lame attempt with his memo......PLEASE EXPLAIN

Carter page was under the radar of the FBI since 2013
The Steele dossier was compiled from June to December 2016

How do the FISA dates coincide???

I'm Proud We Published the Trump-Russia Dossier - The New York

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/.../im-proud-we-published-the-trump-russia-dossier.html

Jan 9, 2018 - The BBC reported that the dossier was a “road map” to the F.B.I. investigation. Fox News recently reported that a top Department of Justice official met with Mr. Steele during the 2016 campaign. And on Tuesday, the public was given a glimpse, in the release of secret testimony, into the fierce battle between ...

Trump Adviser's Visit to Moscow Got the F.B.I.'s Attention - The New ...

Apr 19, 2017 - WASHINGTON — Ever since F.B.I. investigatorsdiscovered in 2013 that a Russian spy was trying to recruit an American businessman named Carter Page, the bureau maintained an occasional interest in Mr. Page. So when he became a foreign policy adviser to the Trump campaign last year and gave a ...

Read the EVIDENCE assembled by numerous agencies, Intel sources, and the US IG and weep. It does not matter if you are 'confused' or not ('Brain Congestion'? :p )

"In 2016 Ohr meets with Steele, determines he is extremely biased and 'desperate for Trump not to become President'.
- Ohr tells the leadership of the FBI this information. Both the leadership of the FBI and DOJ knew this to be the case!

McCabe even confirms THE FBI AND DOJ WOULD NOT HAVE SOUGHT THE FISA WARRANTS WITHOUT THE DOSSIER! "

BUSTED!

As of 2013, the FISA court has denied only 12 warrants since its inception. It has granted more than 34,000 requests since its inception.
In addition, the government must show that the information to be collected is "relevant" to any investigation of foreign espionage or terrorism.
What is a FISA warrant?

Since the court didn't know that the Steele Dossier was financed by Democrats that meant there was a bias in the objective to gain the warrant.
That is not legal.

Neat. Nobody on the committee is accused of breaking the law so your point doesn't mean shit.

I have a feeling this will be rather underwhelming
'Underwhelming'?

The Obama administration, DOJ, and FBI just got exposed for committing Conspiracy, Sedition, and treason...and that is 'underwhelming'?

(Snowflake spin / denial is expectedly getting ginned up...) :p

House Intelligence memo released: What it says

Well Here it is… Quite a bit to digest:

· The Steele dossier formed an essential part of the initial and all three renewal FISA applications against Carter Page.

· Andrew McCabe confirmed that no FISA warrant would have been sought from the FISA Court without the Steele dossier information.

· The political origins of the Steele dossier were known to senior DOJ and FBI officials, but excluded from the FISA applications.

· DOJ official Bruce Ohr met with Steele beginning in the summer of 2016 and relayed to DOJ information about Steele's bias. Steele told Ohr that he, Steele, was desperate that Donald Trump not get elected president and was passionate about him not becoming president.

Before all the spin starts on both sides, take some time to get all the facts. I will do the same.

House Intelligence memo released: What it says

who cares what it says? it was made up by the white house and nunes aids to try to get Donald's fat butt out of trouble.
