It's not a close race. Betting venues are saying Trump is by far the favorite, mostly because he leads in just about every swing state. It's irrelevant that national polling has a two way race fairly close. It's not even a two way race. There are about 6 people running for president.

It depends on how you define fake. Many polling places ask questions in a way that gives them the results they wanted so they can use them for political purposes. In addition, national polls just showing Trump/Biden are totally worthless as:

1. national polls reflecting popular votes is not how we elect presidents.

2. When it comes down to it, only the swing states really matter so polls which include deep blue and deep red states don't mean a damn thing

3. It isn't just Trump and Biden running so polls only showing a two way race are not realistic and are only used for political bias.
