Sweden tries a progressive feminist snow removal policy

It seems a group of feminists in Stockholm, Sweden were making noise about the oppressive snow removal policy that discriminated against women. They argued that the sidewalks near the buildings should be given equal priority to the roads themselves and the reason they were not is because women were less likely to be driving. Additionally, bike paths and entrances to National Parks should be on par with main roads in terms of priority during and after blizzards. An additional $270,000 was added to the city's annual snow removal budget to ensure the success of the plan.

Then a blizzard struck. Traffic ground to a halt. Police could not respond to calls, ambulances got stuck in the road, businesses shut down, downed power lines could not be reached for repair and at least one hospital was running on emergency power at one point. However, the sidewalk leading to Starbuck's was clear. In short, it was a disaster. The response to the failure of the plan is that the financial increase in spending was insufficient. If only the government had seized even more money from those greedy taxpayers, everything would been wonderful. That is right, men in government were to blame.
