Syria, 9 years after Obama's covert war began.

No it was not his war. He did not get deeply involved in it. He did some airstrikes in support of NATO. Trump did the same thing and pulled out eventually. Crying No MAS

The Syrian people had risen up to free themselves from the decades of oppression under the brutal dictator Assad and his father. Many of the Syrian people longed for democracy in their country.
At first the people were winning and begged Obama for weapons to help them defeat Assad, but Obama refused, embargoed any arms sales to them, and eventually the civil war started going badly for the Syrian people.
Russia expressed interest in helping the dictator Assad fight the uprising. That's when Obama told Russia he was drawing a line in the sand and Russia had better not cross it.
Russia laughed at Obama, and started sending its troops and weapons into Syria to help the dictator Assad.
Obama just tucked his tail between his legs and hid. While Assad, with Russia's help, defeated the Syrian people's quest for freedom and democracy. Resulting in millions of Syrian people living today in squalid refugee camps deep in the boiling hot desert. ...

Why should we help them? Let the Saudis or some other camel herders do something for a change.
