Take Your Pick About the Hur Report on Joe

Joe Biden broke the law.
Rep. Madeleine Dean, a Pennsylvania Democrat, asked Hur to read aloud the section of his report outlining the differences between the Biden and Trump cases. “Unlike the evidence involving Mr. Biden, the allegations set forth in the indictment of Mr. Trump, if proven, would present serious aggravating facts,” he read. "Most notably after being given multiple chances to return classified documents and avoid prosecution, Mr. Trump allegedly did the opposite,” Hur continued. “He not only refused to return the documents for many months, but he also obstructed justice by enlisting others to destroy evidence and then to lie about it."

While perhaps not intentional, Hur wrote a comment that utterly humiliated Biden and the Dems and they never blinked.
Hur can't come out and say Biden isn't competent to stand trial because that would mean he isn't competent to be POTUS.

But before he was charged with anything, they would have to do a psychological evaluation. The lights are on, but there's no one home.

He specifically said “based on the evidence”. What you are stating has to do with perceptions, not evidence. He would not have used the term otherwise, he is a lawyer after all.

Again, that isn’t addressing the evidence, just what he thinks the jury would perceive. Of course he also stated that Biden had a photographic memory too didn’t he?
Based on the evidence Biden is a vegetable.

That was only regarding one charge, God get your Dem spin straight. Now, when Biden shared the classified documents and read them aloud to the ghost writer of his book, bam GUILTY!!
Yet he determined charges were not the appropriate remedy so your "bam" is moot.

Limited hangout look it up. Sort of a bizarro alford plea deal where the doj indicated there was intentional wrongdoing but not enough support for indictment. The doj isn't concerned about possible jury actions usually, this must be different. Oh, yeah, and Ray Epps.
Your paragraph is kinda of a mess. Did you know you brought up Ray Epps?

What I know is Hur didn't bring charges.

Explain how you unknowingly steal documents from a SCIF, Simp.

"Kathy Chung, Mr. Biden's former assistant, gave a voluntary, transcribed interview to the House Committee on Oversight and Reform on April 4. She testified that she and another aide packed up the outgoing vice president's office at the end of the Obama administration, placing folders and other items in boxes. Those boxes were then taken to a government transition facility before eventually ending up at the offices of the Penn Biden Center in Washington, a think tank run by the University of Pennsylvania where Mr. Biden kept an office, Chung testified."

Explain how he unknowingly kept classified documents when in 2017 he told his ghost writer the classified documents were in the basement and he should be careful with them.

Ghost writer had no security clearance.

:oops8:
Oops?

There are no charges.

How is that an oops?

Ok, now explain how they got out of a SCIF, Stupid.

Yes. Why he didn't bring charges is in contention. Ray Epps was mentioned because he benefited from the same criteria as Biden, someone decided without asking a jury. Really not that complicated. Pure damage control on the part of Congress and the DOJ. Try to keep up.

That’s a cop out. Biden spent over 50 years in government, from senator, chairman of senate foreign relations and chairman of the senate judiciary committees, and the vice president, Biden has had AMPLE experience and training on the laws surrounding classified information.

Agreed.

There is no “i didn’t know” excuse.

There is if you can't prove intent.

Trust me, anyone in government who has a security clearance is trained regularly on how to handle it. They don’t just give you a security clearance and say “welp, there you go…don’t screw up!” Especially when handling secrets of national security, there is a lot of training and protocol. He knows, and he knew then..
I'm sure he probably does yet no charges were recommended.

It seems a lot of Trump supporters won't accept Hur's decision to not file charges and just assume Biden is giulty.

Presumption of innocence?

That isn't how the legal system works.

Evidence of intent. The evidence is that he is a senile old man. Jury wouldn't convict. Is this really that difficult to admit? He's getting off. Be happy.
