Ted Cruz: its deeply troubling Biden had classified docs from his Senate days, i don't know any other Senator who did, this is why we need term limits

what makes you think there has to be a constitutional amendment? there is absolutely nothing in the constitution that forbids congress from passing a law setting up term limits

with that said, what’s really remarkable about the interview is how difficult it is to get documents out of the SCIF…the length xiden went to get the documents out shows his clear intent was to steal them.
No it doesn't. Which right wing blogger/YouTube video told you that?

I heard Obama had declassified them with a thought so it's all moot anyhow.

1) that state can’t…congress can
2) obama wasn’t president when xiden was a senator stealing these documents. the difficulty in removing them shows it was intentional and not a mistake

Congress can violate the constitution? Can they also ban guns, assert a government mandated religion, and and appoint presidents at will?

Why do you believe the difficulty of getting documents implied intent? If course he had intent to get them, that doesn't mean he had intent to keep them.

That said, whoever was president when Biden took documents home as a senator certainly declassified them with a thought.

1) nothing in the constitution forbids congress from setting term limits
2) because it requires will power it’s not something easily done…it requires forethought not something easily done

The supreme court disagrees with you.

Not easily done does not mean wasn't done. Not sure why you think a thought is that difficult.

Have they stopped looking for stashes of Biden classified documents for fear of further embarrassment??

1) show me where they did
2) hahah are you now saying these documents were found at xiden’s house? haha.

They never did because since Thornton vs term limits, everybody except you realized an amendment would be needed.

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas (Senate Joint Resolution 3 [SJR3]) and Rep. Ralph Norman of South Carolina (House Joint Resolution 12 [HJR12]), introduced and sponsored a resolution limiting terms in office for both members of the House and the Senate. It must garner the support of 3/4 of both houses by December 2022.

Any documents found at Biden's house could have been declassified with a thought.

Thornton is about a State…not the US congress you idiot

As a US Senator xiden didn’t have the authority to do that.

It doesn't matter. Congress does not have the right to make laws that change or violate the constitution by simple legislative means.

It's really quite shocking that you think Congress can make or strike down any law whether it's in the constitution or not.

The president at that time could have.

of course not…but nothing in the constitution forbids them from setting term limits

Yes it does. The constitution sets the conditions for being eligible to run for Congress. Time limits are not included. The founders even discussed why it's not included.
