Many of the cruise ships stop off in Istanbul, but I think people will think twice about making Istanbul their destination if things like this continue to happen. In fact, the owners of the cruise lines would probably omit Istanbul from their schedule, and then Turkey would lose all those tourist dollars.

A female suicide bomber carried out attack on Istanbul tourism police in Turkey, leaving one officer being dead and one more injured, Turkish Anadolu agency reported.
The police station is located in Istanbul's historic Sultanahmet district. The suicide bomber powered the bomb near the entrance. The female bomber lost her life.
The site of the incident was cordoned off and the movement of the trams through Sultanahmet Square has been temporarily suspended.
