The approaching California catastrophe.

Why are Republican so concerned about California when they have Appalachia. Most of it a sh!t hole that’s nearly as big as California.
And they vote mostly Republican. Even as Republicans take away their healthcare calling it healthcare freedom.
It's really California-envy.

For those of us in California it's called suffering.

I own two properties in California and I'm not suffering.

My Mother, Brother and his family, my two sons all live in California and aren't suffering. It must be you!

Thanks El Crappo! Do you lease one of them to illegal immigrants! You really should . You could pack like 30 of them into a nice 4 bedroom. Charge 200 bucks a head. I'm sure some of your neighbors would be willing to do the same. You could get rich and fulfill your humanitarian Socialist dream at the same time .

You seem to have me confused with another. The only agreement I have with Democrats is that the American Worker needs a raise.

The feds should be going after employers that hire illegals such as tRump. If you want to know whats wrong with our immigration policy, you only need to look as far as tRump, the guy you voted in office.

Worker visas should be abolished.

H-1B visas (signed into law by baby bush) should be abolished.

Just set minimum wage to $250 an hour, everything will then be great and all problems solved.

i prefer automation and new jobs creating new cities in more optimal locations while upgrading infrastructure.

could require a lot of manufacturing.

Yep, and we can own $4,000,000 dollar homes and $500,000 cars, it will be great with us all so rich! Lol!

Exactly, he believes he has ideas but won’t back it up.

There are two viable parties in California

It’s just that they both happen to be Democratic parties: a centrist, pro-business Democratic Party and a very progressive party that don’t agree on a lot of things. But they’re in perfect lockstep on Donald Trump

"Trump told Newsom that he had often mocked the governor-to-be in his rallies, adding, “‘Now that I’ve met you and like you, I can’t bring you up anymore.’ And Gavin’s like, ‘No, no, no! Keep bringing me up!’”"

You all believe you have valid rebuttals, but have only fallacy to back it up.

In the era of Trump, this has positioned the state as a key point of resistance: bold enough to believe that the future is once again being forged on the left coast and rich enough to stand up to a federal government focused on dragging America back to an era in which greatness was measured by who was excluded from opportunity

Texas was once determined to sue the previous president, Barack Obama, on nearly every policy and continues to boast that it is the true national alternative going forward. But its model—based on cheap energy, urban sprawl, and political disenfranchisement—does not seem like a recipe for the national long haul. What California is stumbling toward—still evolving, still incomplete, still vulnerable to its own reactionary voters—is a path to a new American future, one in which the nation becomes more prosperous and more sustainable, more diverse and more cohesive, more engaged and more agreeable. It matters that the state gets there and it matters that the country learns from its path.

Rebuttals to what? You have given nothing but vague BS. We asked you where "more optimal locations" would be and you come back with "more central transportation hub friendly locations", what is to rebut, you gave no answer, you just reworded your last vague answer. So, the only fallacy that exists is yours.

You either have a clear plan and can discuss it or not, and you have a vague plan with nothing else and no answers. So let us know what you mean when you say "more optimal locations" and "more central transportation hub friendly locations", because that is vague and more of your pie in the sky theories that you can't even communicate to us in any real detail.

I don't deal with pie in the sky vague theories and fallacies, I deal with reality and concrete solutions. I refuse to play your silly games.

You all have even less than that. Nothing but fallacy.

New cities in more optimal locations will require new infrastructure which can help green our economy as well.

a more Optimal location.

some of the requirements could be,

high speed rail accessible all the way to the City center.

More optimal planning could help any City generate more revenue in a more market friendly manner.
