I'm going to take this to mean that you're not willing to make the compromise mentioned in the private discussion like a mature adult.has anyone else got a pm from the op about trolling?
There is no "you first" in a compromise. It's not synonymous with capitulation. It's two sides mutually making concessions to get what they want.that would be a false assumption.I'm going to take this to mean that you're not willing to make the compromise mentioned in the private discussion like a mature adult.has anyone else got a pm from the op about trolling?
it's only fair the you compromise first

It's not about first term abortions or miscarriages. It's about babies born during or immediately after a botched abortion. From the text:
SEC. 2. Findings.
Congress finds as follows:
(1) If an abortion results in the live birth of an infant, the infant is a legal person for all purposes under the laws of the United States, and entitled to all the protections of such laws.
(2) Any infant born alive after an abortion or within a hospital, clinic, or other facility has the same claim to the protection of the law that would arise for any newborn, or for any person who comes to a hospital, clinic, or other facility for screening and treatment or otherwise becomes a patient within its care.
Even abortion enthusiasts ought to be able to understand that a living human being that fell out of the womb is worth saving. The same human dignity that allows people "choice" surely allows that people who are alive may keep living, even if they prove inconvenient.
Also on the off chance that the fetus does survive , what will be done ?It's not about first term abortions or miscarriages. It's about babies born during or immediately after a botched abortion. From the text:

The odds of the fetus surviving if it is "born" in the 1st and 2nd trimesters are zero so no amount of medical care is going to keep a premature fetus alive.
This entire thread is based upon the fallacy that a fetus can "survive" outside of the uterus prior to the 3rd trimester.
There cannot be any "abortion survivors" at that stage so the anti-rights morons in Congress are just pushing red meat to satisfy their base of mental midgets.
It's up for a Senate vote next week according to cspan. The entire thread is based upon a bill recently passed by the House. I've yet to see anything about it reaching the Senate so far. I invite you to begin a thread about the validity of laws regulating infanticide elsewhere.

- Babies born at 23 weeks have a 17% chance of survival
- Babies born at 24 weeks have a 39% chance of survival
- Babies born at 25 weeks have a 50% chance of survival
- From 32 weeks onwards, most babies are able to survive with the help of medical Technology
Yes 2nd trimester has a 17% to 50% chance
- 2nd trimester is 15 to 26 weeks.

No, it is about late 2nd trimester and late-term abortions.

80% of all births prior to 26 weeks result in disabilities.
Who is going to pay for those disabilities?
Who is going to provide the care that 4 out of 5 are going to need for the rest of their lives?
At what point does the term quality of life become meaningless to the anti-rights zealots?

How could it not be about late-term abortions? You need to provide a link that late-term abortions are exempt from the bill. Or anyone can.

Why don't we just shoot everyone with a serious disability?
