The OP still has not explained how giving a stand down order is unconstitutional.

As commander in chief, it is fully within his legal powers to make that call.

Now let's get the facts straight if we are going to bitch at each other, YES there was an order not to engage the attackers, THAT IS A WELL KNOWN FACT. There was a pilot downed in the same area two weeks earlier, and he was out in a couple of hours because they mobilized enough people to get him in a very short time, and as far as I can find they did not reduce the deployments in those two weeks. THAT IS A MATTER OF PUBLIC RECORD. Could they have stopped the attack and saved the people who died possibly but we will never know we could project a fantasy like liberals do to say it was a definitive YES, but we would be ass "outa themselves" uming as they do. As far as that being cause for a charge of TREASON, It is abhorrent, but Treason has a really high standard. Like giving aid and comfort to the enemy. It would take something like facilitating selling an enemy state nuclear material from our reserves.
