Little to no talent left in Hollywood studios anymore. Was looking at the big budget movies coming out in 24.

Want to make a big budget movie now?

Just take an old show or movie and just add in a bunch of CGI.

Some of the lineup for 2024:

King Kong part who knows how many.
Ghostbusters part who knows how many.
Mean Girls part who knows how many.
Planet of the Apes part who knows how many.
A movie mocking Christianity.
Dune part who knows how many.
“The American Society of Magical Negroes” ok
Fall guy - the 80’s TV show
Garfield part who knows how many.
Despicable Me part who knows how many.
Twister part who knows how many.
Deadpool part who knows how many.
Beatlejuice part who knows how many.
The Joker part who knows how many.
Gladiator part who knows how many.
Wizard of Oz part who knows how many.
Lion King part who knows how many.
Beverly Hills Cop part who knows how many.
Lord of the Rings part who knows how many.
Lilo and Stitch part who knows how many.
Bad Boys part who knows how many.
Hell Boy part who knows how many.
Sonic Hedgehog part who knows how many.
And a plethora of super hero movies.

If you want to make a big budget movie, just dust off an old TV Guide or weekend movie list, write some stupid twists to it and add a lot of CGI because we all know normal people can leap 40 feet or roll their car at 100mph and walk away with perfect hair.

The following should be good...
  1. Planet of the Apes
  2. Gladiator
  3. Beverly Hills Cop
  4. Lord of the Rings
  5. Bad Boys
  6. Hell Boy

The last being the least of the guarantees, but this is my list that should be good.

I could have made any of those. I just need a CGI budget.
And yes, I’m sure I lack talent to make movies. But so do they.

The last movie I saw in the theater was the second Aviator and it was a miserable experience. The woman a few rows down took a few phone calls during the film as if she was just sitting on her couch, the family behind us let there kids play games on their phone with the volume up throughout the film. Making a complaint was meet with “what are we supposed to do“ from the manager. I can spend the same amount of money a few months after the movie is released and buy a copy to watch it at home or stream it. My patience level with rude people is not what it used to be so i adjust to make my experience one I enjoy

1997 The Bachelor was a direct rip off of 7 Chances (1925)

It was a part of America but what is there to replace it?

Indeed, what is there to replace America?

Kids don't watch TV or movies anymore

It's all cell phone.

One of the most popular now is a crowd funded endeavor outside of Hollywood. Thats the way I see entertainment going. There’s a ton of good actors in the world, we don’t need the 7 figure Hollywood elites anymore.

Another small budget home grown movie that was popular:

Hollywood and Disney are all fiction, so it's part of The American Dream, and all things come to an end. So many believed in it.
I'll continue the conversation with any American who will actually contribute to it. Keeping in mind that proper manners and behaviour are important to me.

If you notice, for the most part, the big stars of yesteryear get few parts and they do this regurgitation stuff more and more. The days of spending oodles of money to make a movie are gone.

The big stars are America. They represent American ideals that aren't important to anybody any more.

If Americans are ready to allow it to be replaced? That sounds encuraging but you misspoke by assuming you represent Americans.

I have to suffer your perceptions and those of lowbrows like you.

But I can turn those remarks into something positive. It's an American attitude that's becoming the norm. It's resentment on hearing the truth. Try harder!
