There was clearly no abuse of power. He asked a foreign government to aid in the investigation of an abuse of power by the Obama administration when it sent Biden to Ukraine to stop the investigation of Burisma in order to squelch the Hunter Biden scandal before the 2016 election. How could the US investigate what went on in Ukraine without the cooperation of the Ukrainian government? Governments cooperate all the time in investigations. There is no reason to believe this investigation would have harmed Biden or given Trump an advantage unless you believe Biden's actions in Ukraine on the eve of the 2016 election season were corrupt.

The FBI is looking into it. The investigation into the 2016 election was announced by Barr a few days after the Mueller investigation was closed. John Dunham who is running the DoJ investigation has announced it is now a criminal investigation and he expects to convene a grand jury and seek indictments. The call to Zelensky came just a few months after he was elected President of Ukraine in a landslide vote ousting Poroshenko, the President Biden presented with a quid pro quo threatening to cut off US if Poroshenko did not fire the prosecutor who was investigating Burisma within six hours. Notice that the things the Democrats are accusing Trump of are exacting the things Obama and Biden did in December 2015.

1) our schools, are they working? are they safe? if not give us choice
2) How much are corporations paying in taxes vrs individual taxes; and who is taking corporate donations and how much?
3) Are we leaving a better nation for our kids? One they will prosper more in and want to be part of.
4) How secure is our country from military or demographic invasion?
5) How strong are our first and second Amendment rights? Our 4th and 5th Amendment rights?
