FDR directly prolonged the Great Depression through terrible policy, laid the foundational work for the massive federal overreach and spending we grapple with today, and is only revered as a great president because of his position during World War Two

 
Yes, we still emulate FDR

I WAS KIDDING! I LIKE FDR!

Biden laying out an FDR-like agenda at the start of his presidency was as risky as it was audacious, because he had a slim majority in the House and Senate. but i argue it was what the country needed to heal after the Trump disaster

if you want more government spending, elect more liberals to Congress from your state. it's not enough to have the presidency
 
Biden isn't like FDR. He's more like Jimmy Carter.
With the Feds raising interest rates, and the US economy headed for recession, and Biden's war on energy, the 2022 and 2024 elections look like sweeps if stupid Republicans can focus on the right issues.
