In the past, the Supreme Court always had a mixture of Republican and Democrat chosen Justices on the bench and both sides just went along with the Courts decisions. Not now. Now, having Republican appointed Justices on the Supreme Court is deemed outrageous if the decisions they make don't always come down on the side of the Democrats. So, they talk about packing the court with Democrat appointed Justices so that no opposition party will have representation in the Supreme Court.
They're also now talking about impeaching the Republican appointed Justices.
