The future fighting is almost on Israel.



JERUSALEM — The disintegration of the Syrian state into warring enclaves is bringing with it new challenges and threats for Israel. Alarm bells have now been sounded on Israel's shared northern border with Syria.

That Iranian warship will be in our backyard soon. Not Israel's. It's time to set aside the false perceptions and recognize that Israels enemy is our enemy. They are openly speaking of our demise. Israelis have reminded me of Spartans because they have the spirit of a conquerer within them. Both Israelis and Spartans - vastly outnumbered. 300 is my favorite film of all time. I know some people didn't like the film because of the violence but the lessons of warfare are many in that film. It is a perfect mirror image of spiritual warfare and how victory is accomplished. There is no victory without unity. You have to be in one accord. It is greater to have 300 in one accord than 20 million not in one accord. The Israelis have got that down.
