Sorry guy, but I don't...I never said what exact temperature the atlantic was, I just said that it was warmer then than it is now which we can tell by ice cores taken from above the arctic circle. We can get a pretty damned good estimate of global temperatures through those ice cores. We do know that at that time the earth was a good bit warmer than it is at present. As you can see 2400 years ago we were coming up on the Roman Warm Period and there are proxy studies from all over the earth that tell us that that particular period was warmer than the present.
