Obama has managed to expose the underlying festering racism that exists across the southern states to this day.

Granted that wasn't on his agenda but in many ways he has achieved something that ultimately be for the benefit of all Americans far into the future.

The demographic trend in this nation towards less white domination and greater diversity won't tolerate what happened to Obama and other minorities in the future.

So while it was unfortunate that Obama was the recipient of this racism it was beneficial for the nation as a whole to lance that festering wound.

Of course his arrogance and ignorance had nothing to do with how he's been treated. How soon we forget that he sat in a meeting with republican leadership and uttered the words "I won, you lost", setting the tone early, on his so called bipartisan efforts. And now he has the balls to say it wasn't for a lack of trying, when in fact it was for a lack of trying.

Did you forget that on the day of Obama taking the oath of office your underhanded Republicans were plotting and scheming to obstruct everything he proposed so that they could make him a "one term president"?

Sucks when your side was responsible for creating the toxic atmosphere that allowed racism to flourish.
