The Miracle of Trump

I'll never understand this idea that God intervened. Why didn't God just cause the gun to jam? That would have prevented every injury and the death.

Some Americans may recall from history (in history classes that don't denigrate American history) how George Washington had many bullet holes in his overcoat after battle. Fewer Americans may know when that took place. It was actually during what was called the French and Indian War in America and the 7 Years War in Europe. In a pitched battle during the war, the French told members of the Native American tribes fighting with them to shoot at the commander, who was George Washington. They obeyed and shot point blank at Washington over and over without effect and finally tiring, they gave up, threw down their rifles and told the French, "We cannot kill that man. He is protected by the Great Spirit." While some may regard that as a tall tale, it is based on reliable historical fact.
Flash forward over 200 years and a bullet meant for Trump just grazed his ear.
The media, principally the leftist media, portray this not as a miraculous event (naturally, as the media is supposed to be objective and not purport supernatural theories that propitiously celebrate one party), but the leftist media have gone completely in the other direction, not always hiding their disappointment that the bullet didn't hit it's target while they speciously say, "of course, political violence is never acceptable," even going so far as to compare this with January 6. Some on the left have not even shied away from declaring their disappointment. Whether they wanted Trump dead or not, he survived, and that is no small thing the significance of which should not be minimized. It is in fact a miracle! And when you consider what it means for the future it is as big a miracle as Washington surviving unscathed 200 years earlier.
Imagine where we'd be if one of those bullets had killed Washington. It's probable there'd be no America today. Likewise, if that bullet in Butler, Pennsylvania had hit Trump there might not be an America tomorrow. It's still not over, as we all know, because nearly half the nation is deceived into choosing someone else and not seeing what happened to Trump as anything other than happenstance and not providence. Don't be deceived. This was not happenstance. Something or someone intervened to protect Trump and for reasons we may not know or appreciate now but we shall learn in the future, just as the colonists in Washington's time were not aware of how important he would be to their future when he was miraculously saved in battle.
We have been given a gift. In any special time such a gift is not to be taken lightly and will not be given again. If the deception works and the American people choose Kamala we will have effectively thrown that gift away and subject America to a dark and depressing future.
