Smoking pot can be beneficial... for instance the THC makes you high , but they are finding the CBD substance in pot is fighting cancer , and is helping with pain with out the high of THC.

I take the CBD drops everyday without the high, I don't like the THC high.

That post might lead some to believe that cannabis is pharmacologically addictive. Is that what you believe?

I don't suppose that they controlled for whether the users suffered from severe health problems that they treated with cannabis, or compared that to functionality when they were not medicated. :eusa_eh:

Long term medical users don't get the high from regular use.

There are many components in the cannabis and medical guild lines for what and how much of each is found to be best for each ailment. A friend has an app so they know the right balance for their needs and even carries a tester to verify the amounts of each.

Many medical users have medical cards issued by the state.

Since most CBD is extracted from other than buds, it has no THC. It comes in different strengths and some can carry amounts of tested THC. CBD can be far more pricey than bud or edibles. There are even forms for IV use, not for a high.

They might not get VERY high. But it still can get a person high, even if they use daily. Then again pharmaceutical that are used to treat the same symptoms often also leave a person impaired.

Fewer side effect than many prescription meds and less addictive than high doses of pain meds. People get their life back, or at least a better quality of life.

Yes. For many there can be doses that are effective that don't cause much or any impairment. I suppose it depends on the individuals needs. Some diseases are aggravated by stress, for instance. For that person, getting high may help.

Does that stuff work for stomach complaints?

Even heals colon problems like diverticulitis, stomach ulcers, colitis, gerd and even lactose allergies complaints (make sure you read the edibles and oils before taking).

As a southern conservative Christian (I'm Baptist), I've always been anti-drug. If I suspected anyone smoking pot or doing illegal drugs of any kind, especially negros, I would turn them into the authorities where they would be arrested, and I will continue to do so.
Right! but copious amounts of alcohol and and home made meth are just fine
I don't drink nor use any type of drug.
Bullshit!

Bi-polar, PTSD, depression does benefit from moderate doses of THC, but the other cannabinoids are vital as well.

I've always assumed that all his posts were done while blotto. But maybe there is some other explanation :dunno:

Asthma too. Whether those benefits are physical or psychological, I'm not sure of...

If you use even a nose spray everyday for weeks, you stop the nose spray and your nose with be a mess for several weeks after stopping, because the brain has compensated for the alien spray thing in your body. When it is removed the body reacts .

If you eat sugar , coffee for weeks all day, you will have a sugar / coffee withdrawal.

Anything if abused is addictive ..... including pot, or any pharmaceutical

So even a simple joint a day for health reasons will become a habit if used for a long period of time.

This is why they taper you off slowly if you ever need to stop the drug..

Gambling and pornography can be habit forming, but they are not pharmacologically addictive. Neither is cannabis.

If I drink caffeinated coffee for a week straight, and then don't have any, I have headaches and real cognitive problems. The same scenario with decaffeinated special coffee, or vaporizing, not so much.
