At a candlelight vigil in honor of Venezuela’s political prisoners on Thursday evening, Diego Casanova thought about his older brother. The door of Jose Gregorio Perez’s house had still been ajar when his family went to look for him at his home. He’d left his telephone plugged into the wall on charge.

After two days of searching Mr Perez’s family were told he had been jailed because of his alleged involvement in an anti-government protest. Like other young people in the working-class Caracas neighbourhood, he’d been arrested on terrorism charges.

Mr Perez is just one of 1,229 people who have been detained since July 29 following Venezuela’s presidential election the day before, according to human rights NGO, Foro Penal. At least 24 people have been killed.

Comment:
This is the direction that Democrat Party is taking America.
First they censor people and information.
Then they start arresting people on bogus charges.
And then people start disappearing.

Did Van Jones cry on T.V because kids no longer have to worry about the far-right?

It has already begun. Just ask Tulsi Gabbard and Donald Trump.
