Leaders deserves double " when referring to this group, Bend the Arc. It was formed in the late 1990's by extreme leftists who broke away from mainstream Jewish organizations; it is funded by George Soros and his son, Alexander, sits on the board of directors. Its name tells us all we need to know about it. The Arc is where the Torah, the source of Jewish law and Jewish values, is stored, and these people want to "bend", meaning break away from, the law and values of mainstream Jews. Not only do they not represent mainstream American Jewish values, but they do not represent mainstream American Jewish liberalism. Only an anti semite or an ignoramus would try to pass them off as "leaders".

But of all the things Trump was justifiably accused of in NY, I don't think anti-Semitism was ever one of them. And that's not what the Pitts letter charged. The letter said eleven AMERICANS were murdered. The letter called on him to disavow all targeting of minorities.
