The Pliocene: The Last Time Earth had >400 ppm of Atmospheric CO2

ding:
"You need to face the fact that changing ocean currents explain all of the climate events of the past 3 million years."
"...The idea of Gulf Stream slowdowns as a mechanism in climate change is not merely theoretical. There is actually evidence from the study of ocean sediments that deepwater formation in the north Atlantic was diminished during the sudden cold Heinrich events and other colder phases of the last 130,000 years, including the Younger Dryas phase (e.g., Fairbanks, 1989; Kennett, 1990; Maslin, 199x). The same appears to have been true further back in time to 1.5 Myr ago (Raymo et al. 1998). The process also 'switched on' rapidly at times when climates suddenly warmed around the north Atlantic Basin, such as at the beginning of interstadials or the beginning of the present interglacial (Ramussen et al. 1997). Decreasing deep water formation occurred at times when the climate was cooling towards the end of an interstadial, and it diminished suddenly with the final cooling event that marked the end of the interstadial (Ramussen et al., 1997), and over a period of less than 300 years at the beginning of the Younger Dryas (e.g., Berger and Jansen, 1995)...."

Why does a ding response in a discussion about the glacial-interglacial cycle not contain a single reference to the glacial-interglacial cycle?

Is there physical evidence that ocean currents can cause abrupt climate changes?

Says the guy who said who cares about abrupt climate change.

Says the guy who will never again address the glacial-interglacial cycle for one reason and one reason only: cowardice.

You mean like 5C to 8C swings in temperatures both ways? Yes.
No, I don't mean "like 5C to 8C swings in temperatures both ways. I mean the fucking glacial-interglacial cycle you lying piece of shit, just like I fucking said.

So you accept that changing ocean currents are responsible for 5C to 8C swings in temperature both ways?

Not on a Global scale unless that water has been warmed or cooled by the Sun/Milanakovitch cycles.
Jesus Ding Dishonesly and stupidly botches cause and effect.

Incorrect. The sun is shining just the same in cold climates and hot climates. It's how the planet distributes the heat and what climate affects occur from that distribution of heat. When circulation to the Arctic gets disrupted, the northern hemisphere glaciates. This glaciation causes the planet to cool. It's happened 30 times in the last 3 million years. Tons of evidence for this. When heat is being circulated to the Arctic, the northern hemisphere deglaciates and the planet warms. It's happened 30 times in the last 3 million years. Tons of evidence for this.

That is like saying wind is climate change.

There is no change in ocean heat content regardless of which direction the currents move.

This is complete bullshit and these taxpayer funded frauds cannot answer basic climate questions...

1. Why does one Earth polar circle have 9+ times the ice of the other?
2. Why is there ice age glacier south of Arctic Circle on Greenland but no such ice age glacier north of Arctic Circle on Alaska?
3. If the oceans are "warming" why is the record decade for canes still the 1940s?
4. If the oceans are "rising" why can't we see one single photo of land sinking?
5. How did Co2 thaw North America and freeze Greenland at the same time?

According to you the climate never changes.

A big lie.

Try reading the OP again...

According to you glacial cycles are products of CO2 frauds.

The "glacials" are complete bullshit.

North America thawed while Greenland froze = glacials refuted

Greenland and AA grew new ice layers straight through the "interglacials" = interglacials refuted

You are a complete FRAUD of a "skeptic" for trying to lie your way out of that truth...
