The Presbyterian Church votes to declare Israel an apartheid state

Then why was there 30 years of violent conflict there, leading up to 1948?

There wasn't. Palestine was a sleepy, apolitical backwater..600,000 European Jews immigrated within 15 years and they were socialists and Bolsheviks. Read Zionist aspirations in Palestine from 1920. The Jewish terror gangs were formed in 1920-22.

No one gave one damn shit about that tiny sliver of abandoned barren land until it belonged to Israel.
It's a zionist jew lie that Palestine was an abandoned barren land before Israel owned it.
There were many towns and villages all across the land full of Palestinian people who had a vibrant and dynamic culture.

I am sorry this is off topic, but the truth needs to be addressed before the whole media brainwash takes over. No one gave one shit about that area.
Here is what Mark Twain said about it on his visit:
“There is not a solitary village throughout its whole extent – not for thirty miles in either direction…. [and] one may ride ten miles hereabouts and not see ten human beings.”

Here is the ownership breakdown in 1948:
71.2% owned by Great Britain
8.6% was owned by Jews
3.3% was owned by Arabs THAT LIVED THERE.
16.9% was owned by non-resident Arabs.

If there was a piece of land a Jew wanted that belonged to an Arab, they bought it, usually at very high prices. Those Arab residents lived and worked in peace with the Jews until Egypt told the Arabs they were going to invade Israel, so leave. The Jews publicly asked them to stay. They left. Egypt lost. Egypt, Syria and other Arab nations wouldn't let the now displaced Arabs into their countries. So they squatted on the border. Those people didn't even qualify for UN refugee funds. They hadn't lived in the area long enough to qualify as refugees. Their offspring are still squatting there.

This is a problem that was created by Egypt, then used to Egypt's advantage. Move that border back and give the displaced Arabs some land of their own. Israel has been carved up enough. Leave the tiny sliver to the Jews, because they too need a place on this earth, and let the Muslims have all the rest which is almost all of the Middle East.

In 1960, King Hussein, of Jordan, blamed the right countries for the mess. He said the Arab nations added to the plight of the Arab refugees by keeping them in the camps and not allowing them to integrate as Arab citizens in the countries they tried to repatriate in.
Quote: "Since 1948 Arab countries have approached the Palestine problem in an irresponsible manner. They have used the Palestine people for selfish political purposes. This is ridiculous and, I could say, even criminal."

King Hussein had a better grasp of the situation than you do. Believe what HE told us and not what our UN anti-Jewish media is stoking. Leave the Jews alone.

The denominations are dying. The Holy Spirit has moved out and raising up non-denominational churches.

^DESOLATE. As in NO one gave a shit about that rock until the Jews were given back their home land. Where are all those Arabs? I'm with Mark Twain. I don't see any either. Buildings, yes. Population, no.
Most of the Arabs didn't move there until Israel started to rebuild the land. There was work there. The population of Arabs that lived with the Jews numbered 350,000 by the time Egypt told them to leave the area. That's all. They know that because those 350,000 had to be given special refugee status when they were refused citizenship by Egypt and Syria because they had not lived in Israel for longer than 2 years, therefore did not qualify. It was not the Jews that created the problem. They asked the Arabs to stay. It was Egypt that told them to leave. The Jews tried to stop it:
Jewish Haifa Workers' Council 1948:
"Do not fear. Do not destroy your own homes...do not bring upon yourself tragedy by unnecessary evacuation and self-imposed burdens. But in this city, yours and ours, the gates are open for work, for life, and for peace for you and your families."

ON THE OTHER HAND:
April 27, 1950 Arab National Committee of Haifa:
"The removal of the Arab inhabitants was voluntary and was carried out at our request".

Families always flee a war zone. They weren't armed combattants. The Zionists leveled over 300 Arab villages.

In the past Jews were a tiny minority in Palestine. Read the travels of Ibn Battuta and Rabbi Benjamin Tudela.

Report issued by the Institute for Palestine Studies, Beirut, Lebanon said the majority of the refugees were not expelled by force, but fled of their own volition. According to them, 68% left the country without ever seeing an Israeli soldier.
They were told by Egypt to burn their homes by their own hand when they left, and they did. They didn't want to leave it for the Jews.

Lol. Now you're blaming the Palestinians. They didn't burn their homes. The Zionists shot them when they tried to return home.
