The Proper Usage Of The Term 'Fascism'

Fascism is right wing capitalist dictatorship d u h. Thanks for the right-wing spam propaganda, i e the new b******* Theory that liberalism is fascism. Absolute garbage. That half the GOP believes now...
Fascism is not capitalism. Somebody lied to you.

Liberalism is not fascism. It's not communism or socialism either.

Liberalism IS capitalism.

Fascism is rabid nationalism, dictatorship, forcible suppression of opposition (ie, killing, beating or physically intimidating opposition), and severe social and economic regimentation. Its also usually includes a deeply racist element.

Read the Manifesto of the Racial Scientist by Mussolini for a classic example of that last point.

"Fascism is right wing capitalist dictatorship..."

Astounding how little you know.

Fascism, like Nazis, like Liberalism, is Leftist socialist big government collectivism.

Drop back when you get an education.

The 'proper use' of the term fascist?

Aren't you the same gal that laughably declared that "Being Liberal Makes You a Fascist"?

Read the thread, and they I'll school you.

No you won't, PC. Whenever we've gone head to head......your arguments crumble and you descend into cursing before fleeing. Its your pattern.

You've literally said 'Being Liberal Makes You A Fascist'.

Demonstrating elegantly that you don't know what the term means or how it is to be property used.

Fascism: Anything the left hates.

Wrong again....Fascism is a Leftist doctrine.

When the discussion gets to Fascism, Mussolini is the name that comes to mind. Let's let the readers decide.

Now....Fascism?

Democrat dunce Madeline Albright, in her book ‘Fascism,’ writes:

A Fascist, observes Madeleine Albright, “is someone who claims to speak for a whole nation or group, is utterly unconcerned with the rights of others, and is willing to use violence and whatever other means are necessary to achieve the goals he or she might have.”

OMG! There could not be a better description of the current crop of Liberals.

Democrats telling bakers what they must bake, nuns to provide condoms, and…Antifa.

Sieg Heil, Democrats?????

Consider yourself schooled.

Yeah, the dictionary says this:

Fascism:
a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.

the definition of fascism

You're literally ignoring the dictionary on the meaning of fascism.

Laughing.....so...um, how's that working out for you?

Here is a little exercise, a quiz, which puts the various political perspectives in context.

Nazism, communism, socialism, Liberalism, Progressivism, and fascism....

1. The thesis of communism can be summarized in one sentence: the abolition of private property.

Which of the six also reflect the thesis of Karl Marx?

2. Which is a form of command and control big government?
3. Which has no problem with genocide, actual or figurative, as an accepted procedure on its political enemies?

4. Which is based on the collective over the individual?
5. Which oppresses and/or slaughters its own citizens as pro forma (including depriving them of a living)....?

6. Which represents totalitarian governance?
7. Which believes that mandating/dictating every aspect of their citizen's lives is their prerogative?
8. Which aims for an all-encompassing state that centralizes power to perfect human nature by controlling every aspect of life

9. Which restricts free speech and thought?

10. Which can be summed up in Hegel's “The state says … you must obey …. The state has rights against the individual; its members have obligations, among them that of obeying without protest”

And, of course, they all are do...they are all consubstantial.

They are all the same in their ultimate plan for society: a totalitarian regime with the peons marching lock-step.

Nazism

Communism

Socialism

Fascism

Progressivism

Liberalism

How about pointing out which of them are defenders of religious, political, and economic freedom, and recognize the individual as the most important element of society?

You keep offering us a hyper simplification of fascism, not because fascism is simple. But because your understanding is. With your understanding based on desperate, willful ignorance of virtually every defining characteristic of what fascism is:

You ignore dictatorship in fascism.

You ignore belligerant nationalism in fascism.

You ignore strict regimentation of the economy and all industry in fascism.

You ignore the forcible suppression of opposition in fascism.

You ignore that fascism usually includes deep seeded racism. With Mussolini himself writing the Manifesto of the Racist Scientist, outlining why the Italian race was superior to the lesser races. Just before passing laws stripping the 'lesser' Jew of Italian Citizenship.

And in your stark and laughably ignorance of virtually every tenet of what Fascism actually is........you're going tell us how to 'properly' use a term you clearly don't comprehend?

Um, no. You're clueless. Cut and paste something for us PC from somebody who knows more than you. As you're simply out of your depth.

dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and strong regimentation of society and of the economy

Don't pretend that there is some group around you.....no one wishes to be associated with a dunce like you.

"While the liberal mob engages in the kind of violence that one expects of a mob, there is also a species of intellectual mob that relies on praise and ridicule to enforce its views: they rely on the axiom that large segments of the population would rather be punched in the face than be sneered at by the elites. We call them liberals.

The mob mentality is irresistible to people with a desperate need to be popular, and are perennially afraid of getting a bloody nose on the playground of life. A tell-tale sign is the use of terms like “us” and “we” when they write, or speak…as these pronouns speak of popularity, of membership in the larger group…i.e. the mob."

Laughing........you're already starting to crack, PC. You didn't address ANY of your blunders regarding the actual meaning of fascism.

If your argument had merit, PC.....you wouldn't have to ignore the defining tenets of fascism. Yet you can do little else.

It's this new Theory of right wing BS called liberal fascism, started in 2004 with a book. Absolute idiocy. So they have a new political Spectrum, where on the right you have conservativism and freedom and on the left you have dictatorship whether communist or fascist/capitalist. Absolute garbage propaganda, but on the internet the GOP brainwashed put it up so many times you could think it is serious. That is called propaganda.

PC tends to just regurgitate what she's been told to think. Which is why her arguments tend to degrade when you pull her off her 'script'.

Her 'script' involves ignoring what fascism actually is, what its defining characteristics are. And then imagining that these cartoon simplification that ignores virtually the whole of fascism is the definition.

Alas, no. And merely pointing this fact out causes PC's argument to collapse.

Actual fascism requires a dictator with absolute power. And forcible suppression of all opposition. And belligerant nationalism. And strict regimentation of all industry, commerce and society.

None of which is a 'leftist doctrine'.

Remember, PC....and this point is fundamental: you don't actually know what you're talking about.

Bullshit, you are limited in your thinking. Fascism is a tool and like "Socialism" it can be folded u into any other political system. Binary thinkers truly don't fare well in these discussions. Hitler was a "Fascist" who bent "Socialism" to fit his needs. Like I said earlier honey, time put your big girl pants on.

I'll stick with its actual meaning, thank you. And without ignoring its defining characteristics: dictatorship, belligerent nationalism, forcible suppression of opposition, strict regimentation of the economy and society. And often, racism.
