He bought into USFL after the NFL, where he first tried to buy, told him to fuck off. Once he bought into a New Jersey team he ganged up the rest of the league to sue the NFL over having a monopoly. He (technically) won that suit and got the USFL awarded damages of ........... one dollar. Upon the reading of the judgment, the NFL attorney walked over to Rump, pulled enough small change out of his pocket to serve the damages, dropped it on the table and walked away.
