Every other candidate except Trump has made thei tax returns public going back 20 or more years prior to running for President. Trump has refused to be transparent about his finances. It's high time he was forced to make these disclosures.

You have to have some reasonable suspicion a crime occurred. There's more than a reasonable suspicion that Flynn, Mantafort, Jared and JR and lied on their disclosures, and that's a felony. It's also against the law to accept anything of value to a campaign from a for govt. It appears very likely that Russia did share intelligence and even coordinate wikileaks "leaks" with Trump. I think it's also illegal to offer to give value to a for gummit for their assistance.

If Trump's finances give Russia a means to possibly influence what he does as potus, you bet your sweet bipi the finances are relevant to Mueller's investigation. And I suspect that is what Trump fears people finding out.
