the truth about this particular talking point from anti gun activists is that again, you can never, ever trust anti gunners...they have a phobia about guns and it drives them to do and say anything they have to to ban and control them (in reality, it is deeper than that, they fear people, but controlling guns can give them a measure of control over other people).
This also apples to their new talking point that gun deaths are going to surpass car deaths...another untruth by anti gunners but it sounds great when anti gun media types report it in the main stream media outlets....
