For the life of me, I don't see the big deal....she should have left his ass years ago when this shit first started.....the guy is sick, got issues and needs help. Clearly he could give a fuck about his marriage, he's bored, can't find a real job, gotta wife supporting him and like most men, need attention that clearly he wasn't getting at home. There have been no personnel scandals in Mrs. Clinton's campaign yet, and this isn't one either. This is between Ms. Abedin and her husband.
In Islamic law, a Muslim must officiate a marriage ceremony; hence if Bill Clinton was the only one officiating, the marriage was not valid according to Islamic law. Huma Abedin would undoubtedly have known that. Thus, if no Muslim was officiating along with Clinton, Weiner would not have had to convert to Islam, as the whole thing was a charade from the outset, apparently entered into with the full awareness of all parties concerned.
