The Mueller Report has landed … with a thud. According to summary findings released by Attorney General William Barr, the special counsel Robert Mueller’s nearly two-year-long investigation found no conspiracy between Donald Trump and his associates and Russia. The report would seem to support Trump’s mantra: No collusion. Trump will no doubt use these findings as a cudgel against future inquiries, regardless of merit.

The report did not, however, exonerate Trump of obstruction of justice. I submit that we witnessed that Trump obstructed justice in open view, from the White House and on social media.

And while Trump waged a two-year battle of slander and misinformation to defame the Mueller investigation, the majority of Democratic leadership did nothing to make the case that he had already reached the threshold of accountability, even without the report. Instead, they put too many eggs in the Mueller basket, and allowed Trump to move the goal posts. Indeed, now the goal posts are permanently affixed to skates.

The best case against Donald Trump and the age of Trumpism has always been, and remains, the moral case. Criminality is only one facet of that, although it is the one that the courts and Congress can use to punish him.

As for the people, the voters, it is the moral abomination of having a racist, sexist, child-caging, family-separating, Muslim-hating transphobe as president that must remain front and center. That is the only way to move beyond Trump in 2020.

There's more, if you're interested, but the above is as much as I've yet been willing to assert...

If there was obstruction it would have been released at the time Mueller released no indictments.

The State court actions are nothing. The district court actions are all answerable.

Impeachment is bad for the country.

The only crime for which I would support impeachment is if Trump laundered money for Russian mobsters.

If he cheated on his taxes or committed insurance fraud or violated campaign finance laws, all of which are possible, I would not support impeachment.

But Russian mob money comes from human slavery, mass murder, terrorism, and drug running. If Trump aided and abetted that shit, he should not only be impeached, he should be put up against a wall and shot.

I say all this realizing the Republican party set the bar really low by impeaching a guy over a blowjob.

If Trump obstructed justice, he can't be indicted for it. He can only be impeached, and that is outside Mueller's authority.

Mueller can only provide the evidence for an impeachment. That is why it is critical Barr release the FULL report to Congress.

Man the goalposts are moving faster than the speed of light with you looney tunes.
Nope.

Trump has tried to keep the conversation limited to "Rusher collusion" between himself and Putin, and you tards went along. But the scope of the investigation has been about much more than that. It's amazing you missed that considering the hundreds of topics about it.

Thus all the indictments and convictions.

Nope. You tards wanted the investigation to be about some manufactured bullshit your propagandists have been feeding you. It became your reality.

Sad.

Even Rosenstein supports there was no obstruction

From CNN:

"Barr and Rosenstein did not find they could bring a criminal case with proof beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump’s actions obstructed a specific proceeding."

William Barr and Rod Rosenstein — not Mueller —made decision on obstruction
Obstruction is hard to prove. You have to know the mind of the obstructionist.

Nixon was stupid enough to record himself directing the obstruction of justice. That's why Comey said, "Lordy, I hope there's tapes!"

If Trump was obstructing justice, I don't believe he was doing it to protect himself from prosecution. He was trying to protect Flynn.

As I said above, the only potential crime I care about is money laundering for the Russians. Everything else can be prosecuted after Trump is out of office. The lesser crimes should not be the agents of his removal.

I don't want the Republican bar of impeachment over a blowjob to be the benchmark. Even though Trump deserves it, the country doesn't.

There are several convicted felons who aren't laughing. More notches on Mueller's gun.

Your post is funny. The article claims "obstruction of justice", yet they give no instances where he actually did. Maybe you're referring to the time he fired Comey? BFD. That' was his prerogative as President.

Oh, wait: Maybe he committed "obstruction of justice" by his Twitter tweets. After all, the article did mention his use of social media.

Good luck, fool. You got nothing. Zilch. Zippo. Nada. Nichts. Hell, he didn't even fire Mueller, even though he could have at any time. So to your idiotic last-gasp clutching-at-straws, I give a hearty horse laugh.

LMAO poor Eddie there was no indictment for obstruction of justice AND since there was no collusion any attempt at charging obstruction would be laughed out of court. You need to huff some paint fumes and deal with defeat my friend.

None of which has a single thing to do with Trump. Did that mean old Orange Man twist their arms to make them commit illegal acts? Did he threaten to put them in a headlock and give them noogies if they didn't break the law?

Honestly, you clowns are some sad clowns. Give up already, nobody likes a sore looser and the more you people carry on like this, the more the 2020 election is slipping from your fingers.

Don't say you weren't warned.

I say he laundered money.

Lots of dots there to connect considering the toxicity of Trump after his casinos went tits up, multiple bankruptcies resulting in U.S. banks refusing him loans.
Trump's first trip to Moscow was in 1987.
He's had ties ever since.
One tie he's had consistently is Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt.
Deutsche Bank has been repeatedly plagued with money-laundering fines.
Trump has an account with them.
So does Putin.
Hmmmmm....
Deutsche Bank went into lockdown again for money laundering within 72 hours of Michael Cohen's arrest last year.
I could post links to everything I've said but this site being an echo chamber for Trump's colon, I say they can look it up themselves.
