Yes, overall, people can be pretty shitty to each other.

Here's the thing. Nothing will come of this because after 40 years of this shit, we've all become kind of numb to it. We aren't going to send tens of thousands of troops to Libya to stabilize it. We aren't going to stop our policies of sticking our noses into other people's civil wars. We won't even try to find an alternative energy source to petroleum and cut off the funding to these people.

Instead, we'll keep sticking our dicks into the Middle East Hornet's Nest, and keep complaining when a hornet stings us. .
