The guy was already on their watch list and had done things like look up how to make explosives on the internet. Sound familiar? It should.

The Tsarnaev brothers had done similar things...except the older brother went to a terrorist training camp hosted by Al Qaeida. The Russians warned us about them, they were checked on by the FBI, they fell through the cracks, and they ended up committing a terrorist attack. Who was behind them? No one.

Everything I read was this guy was a terrorist attack waiting to happen and the government missed preventing it from happening. WHY? Same reason the FBI failed to stop the Tsarnaev brothers - no crime committed until the terrorist attack. 'Suspicion' based on looking up how to build a bomb on the internet or going to a Al Qaeda-sponsored terrorist training camp was not enough to stop them in advance. 'They have rights'.
