I'd rather put a drum of black oil in the back of my truck with a compressor driven pressure sprayer to spray out a thick wide coat of black oil behind me. You could cover each side of that in 10 seconds. Of course I'd be nice and have someone put up a street barricade to let folks know not to drive there.

There is no way they could clean that up and repaint it without resurfacing the whole road.
