Trump is a moron, we lose the bases in Japan and SK we lose all influence over that part of the world and China expands unchecked.

The Japanese people have wanted us gone for decades, I was on Okinawa when they did the "Hands around Kadena" as a protest to our bases there. If Abe agrees to this he will be toast the next election.

I have even a better idea. Since fighting stopped in the Korean war about 70 years ago, we should bring our troops home and let the Koreans provide their own defense. There is no reason we should still be there in this day and age.

We are not there for their defense, we are there for ours.

We would be far better of if we brought the troops from Europe home and left those in the Japan and SK. China is a far greater threat than Russia and we have already lost our influence over Europe.
