The problem is that society deserves and should charitably provide social nets. These are temporary "hands up" to allow people to get on their feet, give them a boost of confidence and the ability to pursue their dreams, whether modest or the most ambitious, as long as they are self sufficient and than in a position themselves to provide a hand up to others.

Socialism, communism, quasi-communism, nepotism, crony capitalism. All provide for the misery of the broadest number of people, while ensuring a central form of power and abuse. All aim to denounce or replace religion, whether purposely or incidentally. Stealing the soul from it's citizens, their very nature. As some who has lived all over the world the method of Government proposed by the righties here will descend US to being like south Africa... They have no social net, College is effectively private and Healthcare is a mess unless private... You have a percentage of the population who are doing alright and huge mass doing very badly, crime is very high and gun crime is through the roof.
