How, by the half-second it took the shooter to put in a new magazine?
He would have been able to find an opportunity at reload no doubt. But well that's impossible with the way you arm mass shooters.
It's not impossible at all. A friend of mine has a son who joined the police force. Their advanced training involves quick magazine changes. It's not rocket science, it's practice.
The shooter almost never had to reload thanks to how well your armed him.
So what. Again, tell me how smaller magazines would have changed the situation. Are you trying to tell us that if a crazy mass murderer doesn't have legal access to high capacity magazines, he will just say "Oh well, F-it. If I can't have big magazines, I'll just forget about it!"
I'm saying if he had to reload often the officer there would have had an opportunity to stop him. But since he was just spraying death non stop the officer had to retreat.
And a half-second would have given him that opportunity? Get real.
