It's not impossible at all. A friend of mine has a son who joined the police force. Their advanced training involves quick magazine changes. It's not rocket science, it's practice.

The shooter almost never had to reload thanks to how well your armed him.

So what. Again, tell me how smaller magazines would have changed the situation. Are you trying to tell us that if a crazy mass murderer doesn't have legal access to high capacity magazines, he will just say "Oh well, F-it. If I can't have big magazines, I'll just forget about it!"

I'm saying if he had to reload often the officer there would have had an opportunity to stop him. But since he was just spraying death non stop the officer had to retreat.

Yet the crime rate is 40 percent less than the national average, with some cities well below that. Some of them are among the safest places to live in America. We also have many unique problems to our country like mass shootings, over 50 police shot and killed each year, our police shoot many, many people, toddlers shoot people, road rage shootings, women shot by significant others.... When police fear the criminals, of course crime will increase--especially violent crime. Sure, the cops will come out if called, but if they see a drug deal going down, they now turn their heads the other way. They don't want to get involved with anything that may involve them in a violent altercation.

I've seen this in my city the last couple of years. Our police are no longer pro-active when it comes to crime. You can drive 50 mph in any of our school zones and not have to worry one bit about being pulled over. Our cops don't pull traffic offenders over any longer hence the Ferguson Effect.

No he didn't have a gun, neither have many gunned down by police. See with over 50 cops killed each year they have to be extra defensive. Being extra defensive means they shoot a lot of people, unlike other civilized countries. The people finally had enough in ferguson. So yes the ferguson effect is caused by too many guns.
